What Fuel do you prefer?
Getting ready to purchase my first 911 this summer and am wondering what everyone likes to fuel their 911's with. What do you prefer, and anything to look out for and not put in the tank?
Thanks,
TJ

Gasoline?
OK, more seriously, I always buy premium (no surprise). Beyond that, one local station sells gas without ethanol, and if I am near there when I need to fil up, I stop.
Other than that, I buy from major brands at what appear to be high volume stations. I avoid no-name brands and stations that look like something from the 1930's.

You'll get slightly better gas mileage with the 91 octane without ethanol.

93 Octane from Shell preferably, but usually get Costco.

Nothing less than 93 octane. Top Tier only. Costco or similar is often handy for me, and often the lowest price (typically $2.67 to $2.80 nowadays here in the North Orlando burbs). It sure is nice nowadays with the new world dominance of US oil and gas production. Many of us can recall $4 to $5 per gallon gasoline.

The new home for this 911 will be in Fairbanks, Alaska. The only "Top Tier" gas station we have here is Chevron. Anyone use that and is the Techron they add really worth it?
Here, gas comes either from one of the two local refinery's, or is brought in either from Washington or overseas via fuel barge and then via train to the interior of the state. Either way, none of it is made by any of the final retailers. I know the Chevron stations buy from either the local refinery, or the other distributor that gets their fuel from one of the other avenues. When the truck that delivers to the final seller pulls up to the rack, they put in the code for the Chevron gas and the Techron and whatever else is added as the fuel is loaded in the truck for delivery. Different octane gets different additives is my understanding.
