In 1987 specially optioned Porsche 944 Turbos were sent to the US to be used in SCCA showroom stock racing. After a few competitive years, these cars went into the used car market and were "lost", but RennList tracked them all down!
For the record I own the second 1987 Canadian Turbo Cup factory race car (Chassis #107). The car was campaigned as #61 in the SCCA Escort Endurance Series. It was driven by Scott Goodyear, Bill Adam and Richard Spenard.
I have owned for over twenty years and it is in concours condition with 28,000 original miles.
It was at the 2016 PCA National Parade where it was shown in the historic exhibition.
I owned the #60 car. I bought it from the original owner a few years back. He had purchased the car from Cam Champion who raced it in the Mosport 24hrs race with the #61 car that Scott Good Year drove.
