Hi everyone, I've always been in love w/ the look of an older 911 (930/964, etc). Problem is that when I finally started to make some money was precisely the point where they started to explode in value. Any way, I have an opportunity to purchase a 1977 2.7 Carrera for about $18K-$20K. Car has about 160K on the ODO and is in really good condition save for the front seats need to be reupholstered. I know this is a good deal for something like a 930/964/993, but I know almost nothing back this far. I'm even a bit confused b/c from what I can tell the 1977 model should have been a 3.0?

Anyway, not looking for anything more than what your initial thoughts would be re: is this a good deal.
