Not sure if it applies to Porsches or BMWs, but if you are an AAA member, they have agreed on pricing.

I got a Nissan Altima at like 2% over dealer true cost, buddy got a loaded Subie Forrester here in Florida so cheap that he could've driven it to Colorado and sold it for a profit when he got there, my mom has gotten a Honda Accord at a price where the sales manager said "I can't believe I'm giving it to you for this price".

Simply figure out what you want, contact AAA, they tell you which dealer in your state has the contract. Even if the dealer is too far away, your local dealer should be able to get really close to that price - otherwise, you can rent a car drive down and pick it up from the other dealer
