The part number is listed in the "Stuckliste"/ Spare parts list for the 968 Turbo S/RS from March 13th 1995; If you search on RL you can find a link to a scanned PDF in German.
The only other information I see listed for the 968 TS turbo (951.123.131.30) is as follows: Turbolader 3,0l turbo (K26 2970 MXB 8.11)

More pictures & more 951 Turbochargers for sale
We have done more homework & now can offer more Turbochargers we own beyond the special one we posted. We have:
951 123 131 02 they are only available rebuilt, we want $1500
951 123 131 03 only one available from us, NLA from dealer, we want $2000
951 123 131 30 check out new pictures, you can see it's special. We bought it over 20 years ago from Porsche Motorsport Germany as a 968 TRS Turbocharger. We want $2500.
Check out the pictures of all 3 from two angles. We hope those who doubted will recognize that these are legit now.

Three Wheelin'
They are indeed rare this is verified as a 968 turbo S turbocharger which was a k26 variant bit larger than the 951 units. Please don't confuse it with a turbo RS turbocharger which is larger still k27 variety Thanks for sharing pics with us price is fair now that you listed one and yes there were over 10 of these cars made for European consumption so maybe a shop over there would want it I would put this on pistonheads website as it's a larger European following.
The 50+ more hp k27 turbo RS cars that they only made 4 of had this turbocharger here for reference only as it's factory original rebuilt in my 3 liter turbo engine!

Very interesting!
Thank you very much for your input & support. And the tip on where to try to sell the Turbocharger. By the way, we actually have 3 of them!
Where did you find that information about our Turbo(s) & the differences? It would be nice to have some documentation.

The p/n's for the Turbochargers used on the Turbo S and the Turbo RS are on the parts list in the pdf copy in my previous post.
The parts list was circulated on another section of this Site here (968) years ago by another enthusiast who obtained it from parts unknown. It was originally in German and was translated by another enthusiast for better readability.

So is it a K26/8 with a machined compressor side to be larger? It's unusual that it's a K26 but the intake is so much larger than a 951 K/26. The problem I see you having is that there are very, very few people willing to spend that kind of money when a rebuilt machined or hybrid turbo can be bought for half the price. You are trying to find just a handful of people in the world that want a strictly factory specific 968 Turbo. I wish you luck. If I won the Powerball I would buy one of the 968 Turbo cars and make it exactly as when it was built. Take care, Kevin Anderson
