Street-legal Palatov D2 #5 available now
$85,000 for a California registered and insured, street-driven Palatov D2.
This car was successfully inspected and registered under the California SB100 process.
It is smog-exempt for life, no inspections or tests ever. Tune or modify in any way
without restriction.
The car has about 6,000 miles all street speeds, never tracked.
It has an LS376 version of the standard GM LS3 motor, with 480hp.
It has a race-quality six-speed sequential Quaife transaxle with LSD. https://shop.quaife.co.uk/quaife-61g...equential-tran saxle-gearbox
All LED lighting
Tablet-based dash with built-in integrated data-and-video acquisition with wireless upload.
An essentially identical car, also street licensed and equipped, came 13th overall,
and won the open division of 2015's Pikes Peak race. http://www.ppihc.com/wp-content/uplo...verall-Results .pdf
The standard all chrome-moly tube chassis was deemed race-safe as-is, adding only two 2-ft sections of bar for 'boulder intrusion'.
To reproduce this car would cost over $100,000, not including the rare and difficult to achieve
life-time California smog-exempt registration.
