FS: 2008 Macbook Air 13"
I have a lot of computers sitting around, so I figured I'd start cleaning house. This is my original 13" Macbook Air (1.6Ghz, 2GB RAM, 80GB). This one does have the backlit keyboard.
$380 shipped in Canada or the US. SOLD
I've just replaced the hinge and hinge cover (the early Airs are known to break at the hinge, and this one did well after the warranty had run out).
A couple of years ago, it was bumped on the left rear corner (shown) but still works perfectly.
Battery reports no problems and is healthy. Comes with a newish genuine Apple power adapter.
It will also come with a fresh install of OS X 10.6, ready for you to enter your name and go. The original packaging is long gone, but I will carefully pack and ship it insured immediately upon receipt of payment.
Note the slightly weird fit of the hinge cover here:
