You and me both..
As I REALLY dont need another set of 17s (already have a couple sets of 17s), but after having my hands on this set was considering selling a kidney...
Only thing holding me back was the inability to fit them over 6 pots and 350mm rotors...... and too bad the CCWs he has wont fit my car either.. oh well the quest continues!

Planning on fitting these to Tim's car either tonight or Friday...excited to see how well they'll fit.
IF not, ALL of you guys claiming you're happy they sold so you don't have to buy them are NO longer going to be off the hook!

Oh they will fit, the question is IF they will fit without touching the body panels (rolling) or using agressive camber to tuck them in!

Here ya go, look great (of course) and fit quite well. Note that the rear has POSITIVE camber in it right now as it hasn't been aligned, etc. since adding 200lb. helper spring/coilover shock option to the rear.
So the rears will pull in a nice amount when car is "squatted", fuel in tank and properly aligned. The wheel well will fill out quite nicely. Also, those are Hoosier 275 series WETS, they are HUGE, most 275 series street tires are narrower. A street tire will help get the wheel back a good 5-6mm if not more...IMHO, this would then be a PERFECT fit.
The front wheels in the picture have major negative camber due to static install of camber plates and just "guestimate" on camber adjustment at the wheel carrier...not to mention, currently, there is NO engine! Once car is aligned, with engine installed, etc. the fronts will come out a bit and fill in the front wheel well quite nicely.
This is a late offset 1987 944S, Tim's car, a "work in progress".
I also played around with my factory Cayman S wheels, I think they look great on the car, almost better than the Fikses but I'll let you (Rennlist) be the judge.

SO, you don't like the "German Camaro" wheels?
I like 'em, very "new" looking. Fikses are definitely "trick" though...the ultimate jewelry on all fours.

Those Cayman wheels with the center caps I showed you last week would look awesome, love the 18s on the 944, never thought I would. Even the neighbor came over to ask if I had changed the wheels as the car sat out in the front driveway for awhile last night while I "re-arranged" to fenagle the "project Toyota" onto the lift. Need to drop the oil pan and change balance shaft assembly, that's the "mystery noise" a few local show owners think...then I can sell that damn thing!!
...and get back to the never-ending 944 hot rod project!
