Yes, I got to the US distributor through Sunset Porsche in Oregon where I bought the watch. The distributor insisted I had to send the watch to him which wasn't worthwhile when I had a leather band for the 917 Anniversary watch (it came with two bands) to use. Ues cost was in the $50 to $60 range.

I stand corrected although any 'chronometer' be it mechanical or quartz, has to be certified as such through COSC.
