FS 997.1 XM Retro fit
FS PCM 2.1 XM Radio Retrofit - 997 $225 shipped CONUSA.
I mostly did install myself, but dealer needed to get PCM reprogramed etc. It is a good bit complicated. Install articles are around the forums.
Purchased from Suncoast Porsche 2009. Their description:
"PCM XM Radio Retrofit - 997
Through R&D, we found the Cayenne Satellite radio kits are compatible with any Porsche with PCM 2.1. Each kit includes the XM Satellite module, including the correct harness for your application. Installation must be performed at a Porsche dealership, or at a repair facility with a PIWIS tester.
Satellite radio offers more than 100 channels of entertainment in CD-quality sound, news and views heard nowhere else, plus clear reception from coast to coast (not available in Canada, Hawaii, and Alaska. XM is fully integrated into the PCM system. The antenna can be concealed under the wiper cowl trim.
Fitment: 2005 - 2008 Carrera models with PCM 2.1 (will not fit 2009 models).
XM subscription are not included. This kit will have to be installed at a Porsche dealership. File photo shown."
