Thanks, still for sale. Speaker covers are from Crutchfield. Took a while to find a set I could stand to use.

I was about to recommend that you change back to the stock wheels and steering wheel/shifter, as you would have a much easier time selling it that way... however, I can see from the comments that not everyone would agree with that.

Besides modifying the plugs for the power, do you have to move the 996 seats over to the sliders off the 944? I have two sets of 996 seats and need a set for my 968. Neither are the correct color, but black works in most anything and I have a pair of black sport seats.

The sliders from the 996 seats are used. Electrics are where the fun is. You have to have a set that came from a memory equipped car for them to work.

I have a set of 996 sport seats with backrest only power. Foreward and aft is manual. 968 has 8 way seats out of a 993. I bought them off a guy here on Rennlist and wound up getting burned but that's a whole 'nother story. I keep trying to understand why the memory option, as I also have a set of seats out of 996TT that I believe were memory seats, but I can't see what the difference would be in getting power to the seat from the connector in the 968. I'll have to jury rig it either way. I know I must be missing something. Is there anything you used as a guide or just trial and error? Is there a cable on the memory seats I can harvest to use on the sports? I haven't tried yet, just in the thinking about it stage, or else I can recover the painted 993 seats I paid top dollar for Other than covering up stains with something that RUBS OFF, the 993 seats are pretty solid.
