993 Blue Interior
I've been holding on to my blue interior pieces with the thought of just in case I want to convert back to stock. I'm moving to a weld in cage so the likelihood of going back has been greatly reduced. Most of the interior was taken out when the car had 8-10k miles on it, max 20k miles (since that's what I'm up to now ) Better photos are available on request.
For the seats if someone in Portland / Seattle area wants to meet me half way (1.5 - 2 hours) I can work with you on that to save on shipping (... once the roads thaw out)

The hinge is attached to the door card with a hollow, pop rivet-like piece of metal that is flanged on the back of the door card. You can just pull it through the card and cover to separate the two. It may enlarge the hole in the door card cover, but the hole is concealed by the hinge, so it will not show when a hinge and the card are reinstalled. You can just push the rivet-like piece back through the card with a Phillips screwdriver on reinstall.

Dan, _do not_ remove that black hinge off the door. It's riveted there and not meant to be removed, really. It's possible that it can be re-attached, but the door card would become fairly useless without it. I also see the middle black pocket top rest/stopper piece already removed. Don't remember how it attaches, but it should be there.

The hinge has two holes in it, one for the rivet and one for a screw into the door. The rivet can be pressed back into the door card as I described, and the screw will hold the hinge securely on the door. I think the rivet is only there to provide some stability to the hinge while the door pouch is being attached. Once they're all installed, the pouch stabilizes the hinge and prevents it from rotating about its attachment screw.

While I understand that after changing 2 or three cards on my 993s, I don't understand why remove the hinge from the card in the first place. Every time I've bought or sold door cards (again, two-three times), they've been bought and sold with the hinge in place.
