Well done on the sale Larpy. Shame to see her go though....

Just how much Xenit did you use on that undercarriage?!

Xenit takes off cosmoline without damaging the aluminum/aluminium?

I've been tempted to try to take a decade or two of crud off the bottom of the car (surely 100lbs under there.)

What about the lining of the wheel arches -- it seems that also protects the fenders from stone dents?

^^^^

Larpy has some great posts on the subject....mucho elbow grease and time involved. Net results would benefit from a wild photo shot of the undercariage. Beautiful fittings and layout not to mention the additional fun of working with clean mechanicals. Work of art I must say....

Good point; thanks. I searched for Xenit, but once I searched for author "larpy" and xenit, I see the thread. Surprisingly straightforward. Can't say I want to get under the car with a wire wheel on a cordless drill (at least not without a full face mask respirator) but the results speak for themselves.

Larpy had the determination and equipment. A lift, heated high pressure washer and an understanding wife!!

Should have kept at SUV height to appreciate his work below. Next owner will be quite lucky.

Cheers
