One of my customers had to quit racing because of health issues. I have sold his racecar (not easy in this market) but still have his HANS device. It is a Model 20 size medium Economy model, that was built in June, 2005. It is serial number K20MLEE00907.
It has the old style quick release tethers on it. It does not include the helmet posts.
Price is $420.00 shipped in the continental United States. No international sales.

according to the HANS website:
When should I replace my HANS Device?
# Unless it saves your life in a major wreck you may never have to replace your HANS Device.
# Keep the device away from sunlight as this attacks the high performance resins used.
# The HANS Device comes with an SFI certification sticker that has no expiration date.

To add 2 cents... You just have to keep an eye on the tethers for wear. Also, some folks don't always wear their Hans everytime they go out - usually on practice days. Wear it every time! Even if you're going out for a 10 min session.

HANS devices do not have an expiration date. However the tethers on this one are the original ones, so they are five years old. I would recommend replacing them.
