1986 Carrera Coupe
1986 Carrera
165k miles
4 owners
Guards red over green/grey (semi-rare interior color)
FULL records back to day one
original paint and interior except a nose touch-up for chips
Fully serviced - never rebuilt
I bought this beauty early this year and am deeply in love with it, which is why I dont want to change anything (I want a track toy, and this is too nice to mess with)
This is very clean, very nice example of an un-molested car. I dont want the molestaion to happen while I am the steward so i am considering selling it for in and about what I paid. Since I have had it I rebuilt the shift assy, steering column, brake calipers, and installed new wheel bearings. I drive this everyday to work and its a dream car.
I am wanting to make something more suited for track use and dont have the heart to tear this up.
PCA PNWR member, well known in the communitee, the car is well known and has 10+ years service history on file at Chris's (seattle area shop) plus the binder of info I have dating back to its purchase.
email me and we can talk, I am driving the car so it is not showroom clean, but would clean up quickly if you want to set up an apointment to view it.
Full disclosure of all I know - no tricks, no scams.
apraised early this year at $22-24k
asking $21,500 obo

I personally know this car (drives very well) and it's owner (very conscientious person, highly skilled driver and a hard core Porsche enthusiast). Chris's german auto is one of the top P-shops. Chris in fact answers 911 related tech questions on the PCA website and Panorama. GLWS.
