Hey Dan.....use some consideration.

You're selling a Recaro seat and I once sat in a Recaro seat..... and your car looks too similar to my old car...... and the price of your seat is less than the price I would sell my current seat for if I were selling my seat which I can't sell now because your selling your seat for less......wa-wa-wa

Seriously, great seat from a great guy at a great price!

Add me to the list of guys who are at least interested in the seat, not sure what brackets I need to add it into a 993, concerned about not being able to find a matching one, and who think the original poster is insensitive because sometimes I use this forum to post stuff for sale.

If anybody has suggestions on the above, lemme know.

I think the seat would bolt straight in! The side brackets attach the seat to the sliders which in turn bolt straight into the standard Porsche seat bolt holes. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure the 993 is the same as my 944

996 will require a different base from the 944. Ask me how I know

The seat mounts flat into the 944. The 996 has a funky angle for the front inner mounting spot. It requires a different base.
