Cat...
he has a bad wheel, left rear cat knee is injured. Spent $500 getting him healthy. The "wheel" is supposed to heal over time...next several weeks.
He came to our house on Valentines Day...a random stray, hence the name "Cupid".....maybe stupid cupid if he keeps getting injured!!!

On a serious note...
I have had to keep "Cupid" in a large dog cage...he needs to stay confined to let his knee heal. Leter this week I am taking him to the vet for neutering. The money is not important when you consider the joy animals bring us. They ask for so little and give so much...so I have a $700 stray...pay back time. Some day someone will take me in...just dont put me in a cage a neuter me
We also have three barn cats, mousers...we rescued them. They get feed ever day, fresh water and shelter....and we have another cat that hangs out around the house. We are on a 20 acre parcel in the boonies...need those cats to kill mice...no mice to eat, no snakes...that is our theory.
Thanks for your nice note.

Cat Up Date
Putting Cupid in a cage for about 2 weeks did the trick, his kitty knee healed. We also had him altered to cut down on the fighting and war wounds. in addition he has grown into a very large cat, pretty good mouser.
Last bit of cat gossip, another stray showed up (Little girl), < 12 weeks old. Cupid "adopted" her immediately and took her under his wing. This cat has turned into an excellent mouser.
All is well in ***** Cat Land.

When I was a boy, our collie had a litter of 12 pups. One of them was born with three legs, so we kept him and named him Hoppy. He was an awesome pet and gave me many years of fun and love.

August Rescue..
Got another random cat out of a vineyard back in in August 09, about 12 weeks old, maybe. This thing was so tiny, tea cup cat. Brought him home and within a minute Cupid the previous rescue had adopted him. They bunk together...really a neat little cat.

Kitty has gotten bigger, but...
her disposition remains the same. Very much a people cat, and an incredible and fearless hunter. Kills lots of mice and a bird or two.
Here is a another pic with her soulmate Cupid. Cupid "adopted" Kitty the day I brought her home, Now all they do is chase each other around all day, and snooze together, lots of snoozing. Kitty is much bigger now.
We have 6 cats on 20 acres. Their job is to kill mice and gophers.

They are cute Martin. In 2007 my father in law rescued this little tiny cat that was like three inches long. After three years she's probably 15lbs and about 20 inches. It has been the Joy of my house for the last three years.
