this market is tough...i was trying to sell my anniversary edition boxster...but there were no nibbles at all.

Oh, I forgot to mention.... since I put the car up for sale, I haven't been driving it much.... about 100 miles in the last 3+ months. The last time I filled the car up, premium gas was $4/gal or so and I haven't filled up since. Point is, the car still has $4/gal gas in it. The way I figure, that adds to the value of the car.

except for the fact that its now 4 month old gas, and 4 month old gas aint so great........

IIRC, modern gas blends do not break down after only 4 months of storage in a gas tank....

MINE SURE AS HELL DID

I went to Europe last year for 3 months and when i got back my car ran like ****.

I had figured that same as you, i didnt think gas would be an issue "these days" but sure enough, i drained the gas, refilled and it ran as usual.

Gas does in fact have a shelf life.
