I'm really kicking myself now because the coupe I was going to buy failed the PPI miserably!

The car left town today with the happy new owner at the wheel.

Thanks again to all for your interest. It was hard to see this one go....probably left some money on the table, however, needed a quick sale with the pending relocation.

im going to be licking my wounds for a while from car sales attributable to the relocation last year. sold the 951 to a lister for a big ouch.

If i drove more i would run the 944S2 into the ground. instead i will sell it for a painful loss if a buyer comes around.

i gotta stop paying fair prices for cars.

What I paid for it wasn't the issue, I feel like I made out well there. It's the fact that I invested in this car like I was going to keep it forever which resulted in a $8,000 loss. Unfortunately, I just made it perfect for someone else to reap the rewards. The good news is that the new owner was a really nice guy and he was very happy with the car when he saw it. He got in and started his drive south to the Atlanta area. That made me even more jealous......oh well, life goes on.

Just sold my '87 928 for about a $7k loss, so I feel your pain. The new owner will be enjoying driving the car and not having to turn wrenches.

But now I have one that I will definitely be keeping long term.

BTW, that 911 was about as sharp looking as I've seen. It was just perfect looking.
