Description:
Hello all I am offering my 1988 BMW 735i for sale. I have owned this a little over a year and it has served me well. This vehicle was made for cruising and that’s exactly what it does, I often have to drive to Richmond and every time I go the Bimmer just floats up and down 64. This vehicle features a 208 horepower/225 tq 3.5L inline 6 which BMW fans call the "Big 6".
Please believe it when I say the engine and transmission run GREAT, with frequent oil changes and regular service they say these engines can run till 500,000. In all my travels my BMW has never left me stranded or even the least bit concerned about making it to my destination. I am selling it because I recently quit my job to return to school. Being a full time student I have no need for 2 cars.
Oh it just passed inspection ur good till 4/08
My original asking price was $2100 but after passing inspection the tech suggested that I get a tune-up and replace the front shocks. I lowered the asking price to account for the price of the suggested work.

The good:
A/C works; I was shown a cheap bypass by a BMW tech.
20% tint all the way around.
10 speaker stereo, Blaupunkt radio with iPod/Mp3 input
Full size spare w/ safest factory roadside jack ever.
I re-stained all the wood and it looks new.
Replaced corner lights with smoked lenses
Cavernous Trunk
The bad:
I thought it was a tie rod end but a tech told me that it needs new shocks. This causes a rabble in the front.
I was hit waiting to leave a parking garage and the bumper has a crack in it.
Paint is faded
Minor things here and there typical of a car this age.
Features:
Champagne color (2 very minor rust spots)
Tan leather interior (some cracks on driver seat) otherwise awesome shape

Power seats (3 position memory)
Power headrest
Power windows
Power locks
Power mirrors
