Default FS: 17" Twists w/ Pilot Sport Cups *PICS*

I've decided to sell my track wheels. The tires have 2 DE events on them. I paid over $1k for the tires alone, and they are like new. 3 of the wheels are 100% PERFECT, and one of the wheels has one spot of rash. I was also told that this wheel had a minor bend, when the tire shop was mounting the sport cups. However, I never felt or ever noticed this at all, the tire shop discovered this, and I want to pass this information on to any perspective buyers. They are in need of a good cleaning. I have a few more pics, and can take more of anything you like. I purchased these wheels used, so I do not know what car they came from, however they fit my 87 951 with no spacers, if that helps. I will include 3 porsche crest centercaps (lost one).

Rear- 255/40/ZR17
Front- 225/45ZR17

The wheels are located in Kalamazoo, MI, and I would prefer pickup!! I will ship them at the buyer's expense, but only if I can not get any local bites. I will cover them in cardboard, and shrink wrap them, and throw them on a greyhound. It is the cheapest. PM or email me if you have any questions. trwright@gmail.com . Asking $800, for a quick sale. No lowballers, please.

Here are the pics. I tried to take a close up picture of the rash on that one rear wheel, but can not get it to show on my crap camera. I will try to get my friend's nice cam to get a close up shot of it.

I am pretty sure they are not OEM, because I did not see any part numbers on them. I thought they were replica's because they are stamped "made in italy", but I noticed my boxster wheels also say this, and I know FOR SURE 100% that my boxster wheels are oem. I cam try to clean up the inside of them and take some pics if that will help you identify them.

I think the OEMs always had a Porsche part number stamped on the back...

I was just told that these wheels were never made in 17", so they are for sure replicas.

I have these wheels with painted center caps on my car. 17" rims with a 996 part number (or is it 986???) on the inside of one of the spokes on each wheel.

OriginalSterm, these wheels are known as the Technology wheel or Technology look and were only avaialable from the factory in 18's you have the Box/996 twist wheel which is a 17" and looks a tad bit different.

What are the wheel widths and offset? How much meat left on the tires?

I don't know the offset and width, but I will check. I can tell you they fit my 87 951 perfectly with no spacers. I also believe that they are 7.5" in the front, and 9" in the back, but not 100% on that. I will try to read everything on the back of the wheel and get back to you.

I was just joking about the straight across part, I would prefer twists to my C2s though. Too many other projects come first though.
