Re: the color

This is one of those colors where pictures rarely do it justice. Metallic orange-red paint that changes hue with angles and light. I remember seeing a Boxster at a Porsche event in this color for the first time and being awestruck. It may not be for everyone, but it is distinct and beautiful imho.

 

One of my favorite Porsche colors. I remember seeing a 996 Carrera in it back in the day.

 

Thanks for the comments. Yes, it's a really unique color. I tried to find a few pics that display it's true color, it does change in different light. Definitely not a "burnt orange" rust corvette tone, nor is it too orange, it's just right.

I almost went cross country to look at buying a 996TT in this color combo. Sometimes I still wish I did. I'm sure my wife would think otherwise...
