FS: 993 Silver Face C2S Gauge Set 2400 miles
I came across a nice garage find on a set of C2S gauges from a 98. The gauges only have 2400 miles on them, but the gentleman I got them from had them stored in a box in his garage for 18 years for the matching car which had been in an accident. Because they sat in the garage there is some corrosion around the rings on the gauges, and the inner silver ring has flaked on a couple of the gauges. I thought refurbing them but decided to offer them here first to see if anyone needs them. I've tried to take good photos of the corrosion and flaking. The faces and housings look very nice on the gauges. It's a shame these were neglected but still a very nice low mile find!
Also got a couple climate controls for 993 from this find and 1 for 964.

nice find. the black around the gauges is just flat black paint and can easily be refinished. You are missing the rubber gasket that holds these gauges in place when installed. Nice find, the date is 09/97 btw.

I'm glad you posted this...I've always wondered why mine didn't say Carrera S on the dial...now I know it's not supposed to...whew!

My '98 S with the X71 alu-look dials does not have the Carrera S script either. I believe all USA C2S with the silver dials do not have it. I have seen the script on a ROW car with silver dials, however.

the rings are actually a silver color not black. That was another difference on the Carrera S. They have a little bit of a slight metallic look mixed in there as well, I wonder if that color could be matched? I change bezels all the time and refinish gauges I just didn't want to try and match that color on them. I have the black gaskets as well(I actually have a bag full of spares) just took them off for the pics.
