FS: 1987 951
1987 951. Asking $10k. Located in Virginia Beach, VA.
Zermatt silver on black, approximately 120k miles. Car was repainted October 2008 and was fully disassembled. All door and hatch gaskets were replaced with new OE (including the felt guides inside the doors).
All options in working order, except cruise control. Runs great - I used it as a daily driver and would have no hesitation about jumping in it and driving it across the country. Body in fair condition (acorn dents on hood and roof), interior is in very good condition. Carpet replaced in January 2009 with World Upholstery Feintuft. The rear seat carpet was replaced a few months ago with new factory original because I didn't like way the WU looked. Dash was just redone by Classic 9 leather with leather linen lower, black Acantara upper, 928 defroster vent. A-pillar trim and the trim piece between them were recovered in Acantara as well. New sunvisors, black stainless steel visor clips.
Timing belt is a Gates racing belt. Belt service (rollers, water pump, balance shaft belt) were done at the beginning of 2011 and have around 12k miles on them. Airbox assembly was replaced with new OE around the same time.
10-speaker system with new OE speakers.
Billet shifter made by 9Products. Shift boot is Acantara. Shift **** is Delrin.
SFR stage 1 header, SFR cat-back.
Wizard aluminum radiator. The coolant tank has been replaced recently.
968 hatch. 968 rear cubbies.
Tail lights were replaced in 2010 with new OE.
Engine bay harness is new. Main wiring harness was stripped, repaired and rewrapped.
There's really too much to list. Hopefully pictures will help. I have an accordion folder full of receipts.

Very sorry to hear you're selling!
Many people will be familiar with this car already, but for those who aren't, it's an extraordinary example, and Curt is the sort who replaces every little clip with a new one when it isn't perfect. He's been through the whole car, and I can't imagine a better 951 on the market.

Thanks for the kind words. I really don't want to see her go, but I was laid off and haven't been able to find a new job. I'm considering getting rid of my Jeep instead. I wanted to take some new exterior shots of her this morning, but she's covered in pollen and is need of a wash, clay and few coats of Zaino. I'll probably start doing an exterior detail within the next few days - weather permitting.
I've had three quotes that ranged from $600 to $1200, depending on who does it. One guy stops charging after so many dings and goes to a per-panel rate. I don't see any dings on the header panel or fenders - only the roof and hood. Honestly, if I had the money, I'd have them removed before I sold her. I would be glad to work something out with whoever bought her. Because of the dings, I never finished the underside of the hood. I have the paint and new sound deadeners, but was waiting until the dings were removed.
There will be some extra parts that comes with her. I have a couple air filters, a new set of cabin filters, and I think I have a few oil filters as well. I have all the parts for a gauge cluster project, but haven't had the time to install yet (it includes a set of electroluminescent gauge faces).
A set of QA1 shocks are installed in the back. I'll also include the coilover springs and associated parts, along with a set of fairly new Koni Sport shocks. The front struts are M030. Battery was replaced about a year ago.

Not factory option code 220, but I have installed a low mileage limited slip transaxle (with trans cooler). I went through the CV joints last year (cleaned, inspected and packed with Swepco 101. The transaxle is currently filled with Amsoil MTG. I'll include a new, unopened gallon container of Swepco 201 for it.
No, sorry, I don't know him.
