Was this seat too narrow for you? My driver's seat is a Recaro XL - standard Recaro is a little too narrow for my shoulders & back. How does this OMP compare?

total awsome seats. we had bought a few for our race cars to replace some aging ones. they are crazy light, and really well made. we had an extra and matt purchased it as he suggests. I think retail is near $2300 and i think we bought some of the last the importer had brought into the US.

great item. should serve its next owner quite well. when matt bought it, it was brand spankin' new.

That is a great seat. Any idea how it compares width-wise to the Recaro HANS XL? Thx.

 

going to be more narrow for sure. im a 32,33 inch waist and the XL is too big. call me a freak but i like to be snug like a sardine a milligap wider than something that might cause discomfort. idont like to move at all, i mean rigid in that seat, one and the same.
the OMP is a bit wider than the recaro non-XL, but definately more narrow than the XL. i love the non-xl recaro fit. snug as s bug in a rug. the OMP is a smidge more loose, and the XL i float around in.

 

Thanks, Steve. I'm okay with snug ... not "squished". If the seat is a little broader at the shoulders than the regular sized Recaro, I think I should fit.
