FT: 2001 BMW 540i 6-Speed, Imola Red, $8500 OBO Near Atlanta
Had a 928... would like another. Currently have a 2001 BMW 540i 6-speed. M5 rework, including Imola Red respray in excellent condition. Driveline is stock 540i. 110k miles. Cash would work well, too, though that seems to be in tight supply these days. I'd be using that cash to get a 928, anyway. Don't mind a 928 with needs, prefer 5-speed w/5.0 but will consider any year, any condition. Needs to be a driver; looking to replace my everyday driver.

Thx! Heated seats are SUPERB. Every panel is heated, including the extended thigh thingy and all four side bolsters.
edit: why I started talking about heated seats I'm not sure, but that's how my brain works sometimes

Yeah, it's nice. But it has too many computers to help me drive. Though the heated seats are nice. (Did I mention that?) I had an '85 5-Speed but didn't have the time to give it love. Got lots of time now!

I will be putting my '93 GTS up for sale in the spring. Doing a t-belt replacement right now. I would need cash plus your car.

Might be interested in your GTS, let me know details when you're ready to sell. someone bought one out from under me in midtown about 4 years ago. A black/cashmere 5 speed too.

Well... although a GTS would be nice, I'd even be willing to 'trade down' into a 928 of some sort. I value them more than my e39. I'm not looking for cash, but don't need a huge project, either. I think a $5k-$8k condition 928 would be great.

I think in the spirit of Rennlist, you'd be remiss not to mention the rebuilt title and previous accident history, as you clearly did in this eBay posting. Not everyone would run an Autocheck or Carfax on the car, but the Autocheck report is visible there.

Beutiful car - I was looking when my '00 740i was killed by a semi.
Love the older body style . . . GWS
