So I live in the Middle East (Qatar) and own a 991 Carrera S. We are moving back to Europe this summer. I enquirer with Porsche in the. Netherlands to ensure my car complies with the Dutch legislation etc.. , they confirmed it does. However they told me that in order to use the PCM for sat nav in Europe I would have to change out the whole PCM, at a cost of 4,500 euro! Apparently you can not just upload the European maps? Can anyone confirm this? Is there a work around?
Are secondhand European PCM units, OEM, available in the market?
Any help much appreciated .
