Hi Sam

Heard a little boy say to his Dad, "That doesn't look like a Porsche." But, it is still Smokin' Hot - nice upgrade from 996 Cab

And, where were you?

Marylynn's Row - LOVE the sound of those pipes
#52
A HUGE THANK YOU to Ron, Kevin and MORPCA for an outstanding show

It looks like the event went off well in-spite of the rain.
I didn't make it. I spent all last night prepping the car. Today it was raining, so I waited until it looked like the rain was going to stop, then found that my car battery had died.
By the time I had replaced it, the event was almost over.
To say that I am PISSED is an understatement. This is the third event this year where I have gotten ready to attend and the car has suddenly needed repairs prior to going.

It rained the whole way down. We were one of 4 cars to drive in from the school. We stuck it out a few hours, but it basically never stopped raining and we had a wedding in the PM.
Marylynn's Row was about 1/2 empty, so I presume lots of no-shows.
Just lousy weather. I was hoping to see a car in Malachite Green (no luck) but saw some unusual colors. I counted 3 or 4 cars in Arrow Blue and THREE Champagne Yellow 356s, as well as a very nice Gemini Blue '72 Targa.

It's been a wet summer for sure. This Boxster has been driven in more rainy weather than all four of my previous 911s combined. I'm pleased it actually handles pretty well in the wet.
We plan on going back next year to see the cars, but there really isn't much else to do there (right in town). We had some breakfast and bought some honey from a local vendor, but were pretty much ready to leave by 10, rain or not. Maybe they should move it a little closer to Mid Ohio and offer a track package as part of the weekend? It's not THAT far away now.
