If you guys want to take a ride up to the SFV, this Sunday is the largest meet of the year in Woodland Hills. Motor 4 Toys on Sunday, Dec. 4th, bring at least one unwrapped toy for Christmas.

Mike - I'm going to try and make it out there, but it's going to depend on if I can get my daughter up in time! hahahaha

Morgan - Thanks for the info!

not Porsche related, but there's a BMW meet every 2nd Thursday of the month at Torrance Crossroads. Starts around 7:30pm usually between Wells Fargo and Home Depot. Huge parking lot and lots of places to eat at......In & Out, Jersey Mikes, Gyuushin-Tei, L&L's, etc.....

Hey Jeff,

Congrats on the getting the cab! I only tried doing that meet once to see how many would turn up. Only Mike GT showed up! hahahaa. Thanksgiving weekend was a bad weekend to have it, though.

I'd be happy to try and have another meet. Shall we try and set up a date? What's good for everyone?

What would be great is to find a larger driving event and caravan over on January 1st. This is a great day for a drive rather than just a meet and sip coffee. I remember 15 years ago, about 100+ cars would meet somewhere on PCH in Malibu (Jay Leno attended the few times I made it). From their, they would drive through the canyons to another destination.

Man, I can't make it on the 1st. Gotta go see the relatives and try and remember their names.....hahaha

I went on one of those runs a long time ago. It might've been 15 years ago. I believe we all met up at a Thrifty's off of National and Sawtelle? A bunch of different car clubs met there......Supras, Corvettes, RX-7's, Vipers, a Skyline, etc. There was even a truck that came with 100 octane gas that you could fill up from. We all caravaned to the canyons and stopped off at a restaurant in the middle of the run to take a break. I remember there was this looong straight away that you can just go ***** out, on. I hit 140 mph before my dad in the passenger seat started yelling at me to slow down! hahhaa. I had a RX-7 at the time.

Well since I can't make January 1st, maybe some of us can meet somewhere and caravan on the 7th to C&C in PV? Then maybe do a run after that......
