Virginia International Raceway will have its first Open House on Friday, April 1st to promote the various activities they have on their campus - including skeet shooting, fine dining, meeting/hotel facilities, high speed cart track, the Arial Atom manufacturer, the Raceplex facility for the racing/automotive industry, and more.

VIR is also hosting charity laps from 9am to 4pm. A $25 donation will give you 20 minutes on the North Course of this famous track. Safe speeds will be ensured through the use of pace cars. The proceeds from the charity laps will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities of NC and SW Va.

The Ronald McDonald House provides housing to families of seriously ill children who receive treatment at a nearby hospital, and they provide this service at no charge. This charity also provides college scholarships to high school students every year, as well as ongoing grants to organizations that are giving back to the community and apply for the grant.
