Swap Meet and 50th Anniversary of Florida Crown Region
Florida Crown Region, Porsche Club of America along with Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville, FL will be celebrating its 50th anniversary as a PCA region on Saturday, April 24th, 2010.
Swap Meet - at Brumos Porsche (www.Brumosporsche.com) from 8 AM to 2:00 PM. Bring your Porsche parts to swap and sell. Contact Buddy Kennedy at Brumos Porsche Parts Department (904 725-9155) to reserve a spot for your stuff. A $10.00 pre-registration fee will be required and will be refunded when you show up to claim your spot. Used Porsche cars may also be brought for sale. No dealers or consignment cars. Personal cars for sale only. Commercial vendors are also invited to display your Porsche or other products for sale.
Concours D'Elegance - at Brumos Porsche from 8 AM to 2 PM. $10.00registration fee for entry. Trophies for class winners. Classes determined by entry list. Judging full exterior (excluding underside and chassis), wheels/tires, full interior, engine compartment.
Rally - starting at Brumos Porsche. Drivers/Navigators meet with rallymaster at 1:30 PM. First car out at 2:00 PM. Navigational rally with trivia and observation questions. Includes a guided tour of the new TPC Clubhouse at the TPC at Sawgrass and the world famous 17th hole. Nominal registration fee. Drivers must be at least 18 years of age. Navigator required. If Navigator is under 18, driver must be parent or legal guardian. Release must be signed by all participants. Trophies presented at the evening gala.
Evening Gala Anniversary Dinner - Steak and Seafood plated sit-down dinner at the TPC at Sawgrass Clubhouse. $45 per person, pre-reserved only. Cash bar. Complimentary commemorative wine glass and first glass of wine for toast. No walk-ups. Make reservations and dinner selection on-line at www.ClubRegistration.net NLT April 20, 2010. Headline guest speaker will be Bill Warner, founder of the Amelia Island Concours D' Elegance. Special guests will include Ruben Ledesma, PCA National Treaurer, and Jennifer Barrows, PCA Zone 12 Rep.
