My ED paperwork says about 10 weeks.

Amazingly, it all fit pretty well in the Macan
Steigenberger was OK, just thought the Schlossgarten was a little nicer. And a lot smaller. It was on the same street, just about a half block further from the train station. I did not park at either hotel. Just stayed at each the night before the ED pickups. Had no problems parking at hotels throughout the rest of our trip through Germany. Munich (hotel valet in their own underground space) Nuremberg (I parked it myself in a public garage but in a hotel specific area...with 24 hour hotel employee on site. I will admit I was a bit nervous with this one) and Dresden ( hotel valet in their own garage.) Then dropped the car at the Leipzig factory...a very positive experience.

How safe was the hotel parking?
1. Is it secure?
2. Safe from door dings?
3. Can you park it yourself or beholden to valets?
4. Is there space for me to apply temporary Xpel to the areas not being professionally done while I'm in Europe?

Thanks also for he hotel reco
See my hotel parking experience noted above.

I did not have any Xpel applied in Europe, I would have if I had thought about it ahead of time. Didn't have any road rash issues that I am aware of...only issue was at the factory in Zuffenhausen after delivery. Had to park it in the visitors lot at PORSCHE and they were doing some parking lot work at a lot just in front of it. When I returned a few hours later after factory tour and lunch, my front hood and windshield had some concrete slurry splashes on it!! Took it directly back to the delivery are and they cleaned it off. NOT where I expected to have any problems!

You can ask Porsche Finance to modify the lease to remove the first payment and add it to the end of the lease, but if the shipping time is 6-10 weeks, you probably still end up paying for a month in which you don't yet have the car back.

Very nice photos.
And check out the play area and ride-on Porsches! We were in the adjoining room and saw through the doorway the kids zooming back and forth!

The aero on your car must be as good as the aero on this Porsche race car!

That's right! I got the idea from the Museum.

Default My car finally arrived!

We took delivery this morning of our Macan S. So it took almost 2 months from drop off in Stuttgart to delivery in Los Angeles. Some odds and ends: they left our kid's car seats, warning triangle, first aid kit, and license plate in the car for us. Also a little trash was left over in the door pocket . Glad that it's here, now time for a road trip!

They were very accommodating to our children... They held my Amazon.de bought car seats and had them in our room before checkin, all staff were very friendly with them... We couldn't ask for better hospitality!

We also kept Macan in Europe for 6 months and 10,000+ km.
Very awesome, looking to buy another new Porsche to do it again next year :-)
