The ship that is carrying my car is now off the coast of Tijuana. However, the ships next port of call is Hueneme, in Oxnard. The good news is that the ship is supposed to reach that port later today or tomorrow. The bad news is that it is not scheduled to reach San Diego until the 18th.

Sigh. I hate waiting.

The ship carrying my GT4 dropped anchor at the port of San Diego.

 

has anyone ever airfreighted their car back with them?

 

Yes. JCBH airshipped a 991 GT3 RS a couple of months back. I believe it's about USD $10k.

 

It's been an agonizingly long wait, but she's finally home. Now it's time for a spa date!

At the dealership, I signed some paperwork to cancel the prior contract. While I actually made payments on the car (sadly, I was not able to pay in full), I held no official title to the car. So, all the DMV paperwork was signed again, this time with accurate mileage, and that was it. I set off. Reunited with my old friend.

 

 

Welcome home!

 

So, after meeting such a sweet, smart girl in Germany and spending a few months together, I thought I knew her. She was very refined. Extremely confident. Stunningly good looking, extremely smart and self-assured. Sure, she showed a bit of a wild side while we were vacationing in her homeland in Europe. But, boy oh boy... did she ever start to let loose and really show off that wild side once she finally came to her new home in California.




She had some plastic surgery done shortly after arriving home



And what girl doesn't love new shoes?



She brought some new lightweight clothes from Germany - black never seems to go out of style

 

She went straight to the tattoo parlor and got inked...





I normally don't go for girls with tats, but I actually like it on her

 

Soon all she could talk about was stripping and lap dances...



She was desperate to take a road trip and let loose

Her friends are pretty hot too!

How does the current mods list look like now?

 

Well... let's just say that it's much closer to a Clubsport than a street GT4. However, I did leave the engine and exhaust alone. For now.
