Catch you on my return Umberto. I had to make time from Stuttgart to Venice to coordinate with family. Think I did 7.5 hrs.

 

arggghh….much work for report but will do my best! Might have to cobble something together after the fact. Can’t come close to yours Mike.

went through the Fernpass on way south, great views unfortunately no pix.

Following break in advice - less than 5k rpm for 1500 km, then increase 500 rpm each 300 km. Don’t hold steady rpm, try to vary. This was what was Andreas Preuniger said, according to my ED guy Tilman. I think I did a good job so far, did get up 160 kmhr in sections, but varied speed and loading.

winter tires don’t feel that great, but will manage.

car dropped near Venice airport, I’m in Venice for 4 days, fly to San Sebastián for 4 days then home. Will return in 4-6 weeks to do 2nd leg. Car is in locked garage, is itself locked,covered, and has long life gps tracked enabled.
