Car stuck at the port
I did ED in December and my car arrived at Jacksonville three weeks ago and my dealer still hasn't received it.
Do you know what is the typical time it takes for the car to be delivered to the dealer after it is dropped off at the port? Feels like it shouldn't take much more than 3 weeks...

I don't think there is any rhyme or reason for some of the delays, at least not the knowledge of anyone on the purchasing end.

I've done two EDs. In 2016, the car arrived at the dealer less than 6 weeks after I dropped it off in Leipzig. This year, it took 13 weeks. About 4 weeks came after it arrived in Halifax (I'm in Canada). I asked, but no explanations.

damn that sucks. 3 months to get it back will be worse than the two year wait to build it. I’m in Canada as well.

My ED was Aug 2022. From ED drop off to dealer hand off took 54 days.
ED drop off to Port of Baltimore took 33 days.
Stayed at port for 12 days before arriving at the dealer.
Dealer prep, PPF to handoff took 9 days.
There are too many variables to track for any concrete timeframe.

Friend in DC just got his 911 GTS. It sat for 4 months at the port before making it to the Atlanta PEC. Explanation he said was that "they were waiting for parts to be installed", likely computer chips though some folks have previously mentioned some kind of EPA certification was needed on the cars.
