Just got notification from Joey Bolton that no tours are available during that span. My ED is Dec 22 so I can't get the tour but the museum is still open. CJ Wilson from Porsche Fresno thinks its bc there is possibly a prototype being manufactured in that span

 

No that happens all the time and they just limit your access. More likely staffing over those days.

 

Yikes, I would not be pleased. Did they make up for the situation somehow?

 

no but at this point I'm just happy the car was built on time and that I even got an allocation

 

just picked up my TTS in Zentrum. Got clarification that the factory tours are halted around the Christmas vacation break because it is a maintenance period as well for the factory and its not in a tidy enough condition to be presentable to customers for a tour.

Interestingly enough my ED experience now has become a Skoda Octavia experience. Only drove my TTS to the museum and back to Zentrum as I had rented a Skoda Octavia Estate to drive the family around and had planned to pick up the TTS to drive from Stuttgart to Nice for drop off. My wife got the flu in Zurich and was not well enough to drive the 6+ hours to Milan as planned so I left the TTS in Stuttgart and continued on in the Skoda. Its not a bad car at all. Plug in Hybrid with lots of room (6 suitcases) and 4 adults are tight but livable.

 

That stitching is a really nice accent. Great idea.
