My plans are finalized:

I'm in Nürburg now and until Thursday the 20th 15.00. Then I'm back late Friday evening.

I'm driving the VLN, this is my first VLN, on Saturday, might do TF after the race - not sure as of now.

Sunday is TF (with some meetings interrupting) regarding the Scuderia Hanseat Course that starts on Monday.

PM me if you want to meet, have ride or need help.

Hope to see you there on Sunday the 23rd...!! We have two ring taxi laps in a Turbo S scheduled and 4 laps in my T with an instructor.

Randy M, early on in this thread, you had been wrestling with which PPF strategy to follow; what was your final solution?

I'm having this place do my PPF the day after I take delivery. I'll ask about having some minor paint correction done prior to applying PPF but my car is silver so it should be much less of an issue:

Great! A lot of folk here have followed this exact route and have been happy with the quality of the install; love to hear of your impressions of the job and any "before" and "after" comparisons; good luck!

Yep, pretty bad, I stayed on couch almost all day (except for a short trip to the zoo with my little daughter)... Video from Nordschleife here:
Bold guy driving his GT2RS (looks like at 0.56) there. I am going again on 8 October, hope for better weather...

When we got to the ring it was just starting to rain and just kept raining all night. We left the ring yesterday but we did do a ring taxi in a turbo S with Theo. Those ring taxi guys are amazing. Then i did 4 laps with an instructor and sure am glad I did. The Norschleife is the most intimidating track I've been on for certain, especially with the foul weather.

We drove down to Baden-Baden and will be touring the Black Forest today on a 5 hour drive.

First time with good wifi here in Germany. Here's a pic of my delivery:

Schwaben-Folia also did a great job on the PPF for having my car for less than 24 hours:

We went to the VfB Stuttgart v. Dusseldorf Fortuna game at MB Stdium while we waited for the PPF to be done:

I know this is an old thread but you mind saying what you paid? Was it the whole car or just the front? Still happy with it when you got stateside? Going for ED in December, feedback appreciated, thank you! -Dom

Sorry I didn't get back to your question earlier, been out of town. I believe it was $1800. Porsche now offers PPF as an option so I'd just check that option box now.
