I've been working with my dealer to schedule a PEC LA delivery... The car is currently on a boat, with scheduled delivery for end of July. But the dealer said they still can't lock on a date for the PEC delivery, as it might get held up in port and its too far out etc etc.

I know the getting held up at port thing is real, as I've seen quite a few people experience that around here, but how does that work with scheduling a date for PEC delivery? I've seen people here lock down on a date months before their delivery, how was that possible? Should i just wait patiently or should i try to push my dealer to lock on a date?
