Default Anyone going to Carlisle this weekend?

Was thinking about a trip down Saturday.
Trying to decide if I want to take the Porker out and stretch its legs down 78.

What's a Porker? That's a term that I'm not familiar with.

Another name for a Porsche.
It's in fairly common usage. Hell it even made it into urban dictionary...

I was there 2-3 years ago before they combined the Import Nationals with the "performance and style" (ricer/low rider) Nationals. There were only 5 P-cars there. 2 exotics. Hundreds of Volvo's and Saab's.

If you go, post if it was any good.

I'm probably going to Cars and Coffee at the Steel Stacks in Bethlehem Sunday morning. I heard that they are going to start segregating the parking lot to keep all the beat up lowered Subarus out of the main lot so there are more room for exotics, muscle cars, Vettes, P-cars, etc. main lot for the good stuff, second lot for special interest cars that aren't show cars, third lot for everybody else. I haven't been there since the season opener last year when I was trying to sell my 1963 Chevy Impala.

I actually have been going for years. I used to go for the TR and TVRs - the TVR club combine their annual show with this one. Since it's been mixed classic and "custom" it's gone downhill. A lot. The kit car part has been pretty dead since the crash in 08 and eBay killed the swap meet.

I'm going more to spend some time with my kid than for the cars this year.
