Brake rotor replacement NY/NJ
Went to the Manhattan motor cars and they said that my car needed new front rotors and brake pads for me 2013 991 cab. Quoted me $1100 to do that which I think is insane, thinking of ordering oem parts online, any recommendations for a shop in NY to swap them? Pretty straight forward job so it doesn't have to be a dealership but want a shop with Porsche experience.

Source your own parts and bring it to RCT performance in Queens or Westbury Long Island. Talk to the owner Ryan. Good guy.
Changing the rotors and pads is one of the easiest things to do on the car. No more than 1-1.5 hours each side.
You might want to measure the thickness of the rotors. You might not need to change that.

i service my gt4 at Formula Motorsports in Long Island City. Its right off queensborogh bridge 2 subway stops out of Manhattan.
