I have known both dealers for years (and under prior ownerships), just keep it mind they are car dealers. I have bought at least 10 cars from each dealership, and admittedly I am not the easiest person to try and sell a car too, I'd probably go back to Porsche of Conshohocken if I was going to buy a new car.

And by the way if anyone is looking for a really good independent service shop (that can do mods as well) PM me. I have been using them for 4 years (they have worked on over 40 of my cars since then), and they a very good.

While I obviously prefer not to pay ADM, I realize it may be a reality given my situation. Any salesperson/dealership referrals would be greatly appreciated. I am only a few minutes away from Porsche of the Main Line but am more than willing to travel.

Thank you.
Porsche of Conshohocken no question. They have been so helpful with my cars and their salespeople are some of the best. Please Pm me if you need some contacts there from salespersons to service etc.

goodluck!

Hey everyone. Just recently purchased a 1986 944 from the original owner on a whim. Super excited to finally own one.

I got some service done from Porsche Specialists and they were great, but are there any non Porsche shops that are trust worthy in the city? Looking for more affordable alternatives when I can’t do the work myself. Most stuff I should be able to do

Thanks!

Congrats on the 944 acquisition. Great lines!

Don't have anyone in town. But I'm all ears should you find a great indie shop.

How about some pics?

I plan on re-indexing my torsion bars on the 944 in a few weeks. I haven't found an in-depth enough breakdown with pictures online to feel 100% confident in getting the job done with any swiftness. Are there any Philly/NJ/DE guys who have done this before and would be able to help in the process? I can pay you for your time as well and provide food/drinks.

I will be working on the car in Cherry Hill NJ.

Shoot me a PM if so!

If you have any questions, John B here used to race 944's and is familiar with the task at hand. Give us a call if need be!

Hello fellow Philly members!!!

I've been lurking for a long time and finally realized a childhood dream by buying my first Porsche. '01 996 C4 w/12,288 miles in seal gray/savannah beige. I look forward to learning more from the members here and possibly meeting up for a drive with some local Porsche aficionados.

Who are you guys going to for Porsche work around Philly? I used Premier Eurocars for my PPI, seemed thorough and pleasant to deal with and it looks like they work on a lot of Porsches. I've also seen Leading Edge but have not had any personal experience with them.
