Avoid the five boroughs and take it to long island or westchester, depending on where the car is located. Cost may vary. The cheaper the cost, the most worthless the ppi usually. Search here on rennlist will return many recommendations.

Why would you say avoid the 5 boros?
There are competent Porsche mechanics here.

It may be, I haven't heard of any personally. Luckily I moved out of bkln anyway so no longer an issue for me.

OK Rick, I was afraid that you had bad experiences in Porsche shops in NYC.

Formula Motorsports in Astoria has been good to me.
Clean shop, friendly service and only 3 blocks from my garage :-)

I also would not hesitate in calling Tyrolsport in Ridgewood (Queens/Bklyn) as they can probably give you a solid PPI.
