OT: Hotel & Parking near Upper West Side
Will be driving from Toronto Canada to NYC for the Ira Sohn Conference at Alice Tully Hall.
Can anyone recommend reasonable accommodations and parking near the venue.
Thanks

Empire Hotel is right at Lincoln Center.
NYLO hotel on Broadway is an older but recently renovated "cool" hotel about a 10 minute walk to Lincoln Center. Nice bar. Only problem might be two new condo towers going up on the same block.
Beacon Hotel is an older, very large hotel. Looks to be well taken care of. Nice modern bar. Also a 10 minute walk or 1 stop on the subway.
Since I live right there I have never stayed in any of them but seem nice.
Plenty of parking garages nearby. Nothing cheap though the hotels must have a deal with some of them. Going to be at least $30/day. Manhattan isn't drive-able so you are going to park your car and not think about it until it is time to leave.

Lots of trouble with AirBnB in Manhattan due to housing laws. I personally wouldn't risk it due to the crackdowns by the attorney general as well as crackdowns from landlords, co-op and condo boards.
Lucerne is nice, just a bit further from Lincoln Center but lots of bars and restaurants pretty much just outside the door. The restaurant on premises Nice Matin is pretty good too.

If you want someplace that is a bit older, and a similar location to Lucerne/NyLo/Beacon and always booked with tourists you can try the Millburn on 76 st off Broadway. I don't think they even have a restaurant or bar, but plenty of those in the neighborhood anyway.
Looks like Tripadvisor.com gave it 4 stars.
