September Northeast Foliage run UPDATE Hotels
Date: September 27 2003
Location: 55 Prospect St. West Newbury, MA 01985
Well guys we've got another run. Host is Mark Skala in West Newbury MA (Up on the NH border near the coast). Gathering should start about 10:20 to 11:00 for a little wandering, admiring and talking. Food for gnoshing as well.
It's going to be a long drive so we'll head out early, a run up the coast, then head West and North. We'll do a stop in Concord, maybe some Ice cream and such. And then the final run up to the Kancamangus, some of the best scenery in the US.

For those coming please post in here so we have an idea of attendance.
If anyone wants to know about hotels and the like for those coming in from farther away or you have any other questions please e-mail me at etrent@sidv.org

How many hours do you anticipate driving... asked more directly, when will the drive finish up.
I would love to participate with my wife - but we would want to drive back to MA (home) for the night.
Good times!

Shouldn't be a problem. should finish up between 4 and 5. Bring the Wife lots of neat stores in Concord center. Figure that would make it worthwhile for the ladies

It is. But I've done it myself many times. Come a day earlier and stay over. The end of the trip is closer to upstate. Hope to have loads of cars, and these tend to be a lot of fun.

From: Central Illinois. Cornfields a plenty.
