GARDEN STATE EUROS would like to invite the Tri-State European car community to our annual Spring Season Opener Meet on Wednesday, March 20th from 6:00pm – 10:00pm at the LOWES parking lot in Butler, NJ. This location provides easy access from highways (Route 23, 287, 80, 46, 3) and also offers Applebees and Wendy’s next door. The Garden State Euros booth will have 2013 club information, club events calendar, DubRun DVDs, club clothing and stickers. Redline Speed Worx will be the event title sponsor with several other vendors onsite including Detailer’s Domain, GoBadges, ItsDope, KrautoParts, Linden Volkswagen Motorsport and StickerBombNJ.

TRI-STATE ATTENDANCE
This is the meet of all meets for the Tri-State area, a one night flash meet (flash mob for cars). We understand that this location may be a haul and attending a Wednesday night meet may be difficult with work/family/school schedules but we can promise you this is one meet you will not want to miss for 2013. In total we will be inviting over European car owners from the following Tri-State meets & clubs: Bergen, Castle GTG, Coolwater, Eurotech, Eurowerkz, Fairlawn, Franklin Hooters, Hudson Valley GTG, Jetta is Betta, Linen GTG, Linden Starbucks, Monmouth, Montclair, Mount Olive, N.E.R.D., NJ Drty Euros, Northern, NJ, Palisades, Parsipanny / PAR GTG, Poughkeepsie, RSWorx, Rt 4 IKEA GTG, Somerset, Sussex, Team A.C.E., Tri-State Chit Chat, Tri-State Spotted, Union GTG, Woodbridge, and William Paterson University.

PARKING & CONDUCT
Please see the map below, our club members will direct attendees to park away from the storefront to ensure that we do not interfere with typical customer traffic. Our meet is very simple, park and turn off the car. We absolutely do not tolerate burnouts / loud music / engine revving / excessive driving through the parking lot / etc. If attendees can’t follow these rules you will be asked to leave. Local police will be on site to enforce the conduct rules we agreed to with Lowes, the town and police department. Lastly, please do not litter, garbage cans can be found in front of Lowes, please throw your trash away or police will ticket for littering.

GENERAL QUESTIONS / FAQ’S
Is there a cost for entry?
There is no cost for entry but there will be stickers, clothing and DubRun DVDs for sale.

Will there be a section for show cars?
There will not be registration or a show car contest but cars can be shown off in a reserved section on a first come, first serve basis.

Will there be reserved spots for clubs?
Yes, as per the above map, we have assigned reserved parking for the clubs that have contacted us ahead of time. If you’re interested in attending with your club and would like to see about reserved parking please reply to this thread or email us at GardenStateEuros@gmail.com.

Are pets allowed at the show?
Yes, pets are allowed as long as you clean up after them.

Is alcohol permitted?
Absolutely not, local police will be onsite for this event.

How can I attend as a vendor?

What time can vendors / sponsors arrive at the show to setup their booths?
All vendors / sponsors need to arrive and be finished setting up their booths by 6pm sharp.

Any idea of the membership breakdown by brand? i.e. % VW, % BMW, $ Porsche. Just curious.

Thank you for posting. As per last year's turnout of 325+ cars here was the recorded breakdown (yes we track everything ha)

Audi = 15%
BMW = 15%
Exotic = 5%
Fiat = 0% (anticipate turnout this year as we just created club threads for 2013)
Non-Euro = 10%
Mercedes Benz = 5%
Mini Cooper = 5%
Porsche = 5%
Volkswagen = 40%

Keep in mind this is our 2nd annual Spring Season Opener meet and our 3rd year running as a club. In the first year our club started as VW only. In year two I expanded the club base (forum threads, events, FB page, flyers, logos, media coverage, magazines, etc) to full Euro.

We have slowly built out our high end Audi (S4's/S5's/R8's), BMW (M3's/M5's/Z4's), Mercedes (E-series/AMG's), Porsche (all) and Exotics (Lambo/Ferrari/Jag/Lotus/Tesla) attendance. For our two major annual events (Spring Opener in March and DubRun in October) and our GSE FB group page, we have steadily increased our full Euro diversity. For year one our weekly meets have had steady attendance from clean MK5 and MK6 Volkswagens and Audis. Last year we received weekly attendance from added categories such as BMW, Mercedes and Mini Cooper with the occasional Porsche and Exotic attendance during prestine weather conditions.

We have recently created our GSE Motorsport Division to appeal to some higher end performance Porsche's and Exotics.
