My wife was given a speeding ticket in Danbury, CT. We live in New York and she has a New York license. The ticket says if you plea "no contest" and pay the fine then no points will be assesed by the Ct. Commisioner of Motor Vehicles. My question is does this also mean no points will be assesed in New York? Thanks.

Yup. May impact insurance still but no DMV points.
