Anyone live in the Willmington, NC area? I have been there a few times to visit family and I love it there. Would love to even move there since my job allows me to do so. How do people like it and what do you think of it?

Hey...it is a college and beach town!! Lot's of Fun. We stay alot of the summer not too far from there...Oak Island! So,come on to NC!!

Thanks! I will be down there in the next couple of months. I will check out Oak Island for sure. When I was down there last March it was cold 40's-50's. What is a typical winter day like there?

I used to live there as well as Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach - I miss the area and surfing!

You definitely need to seriously consider moving there if the option is available - good paying jobs down there aren't a dime a dozen and it's why I had to leave 10 years ago.

My grandparents live on Carolina beach! Great area. Well considering I am a teacher and I don't get paid anything anyway, it doesn't really matter. I just need to convince the wife first!!!!! She is set against it big time.
