Default PPI recommendation for Newburgh/Stewart NY

Getting ready to schedule a trip to take a look at a 928 in the area and need a good recommendation for a shop/mechanic for a PPI.

Any "long hood" experts in the area?

Did you ask in the 928 forum?

Did you check with any of the nearby PCA regions? (Metro, CVR, etc)?
Usually their authorized PCA DE Technical inspectors and shops are a good place to start.

Thanks Lewis. I did post to 928 as well and got a tip from mickster. Will need to find the nearest PCA in the region... It's a bit upstate.

Try Tom Florio at Advanced Auto in New Windsor. Before I had my 996, I took my Audi over there just to get tires and I was impressed by the Porsche race cars he had in the front. Now that I have my P-car I realized that he's a member of the Hudson Valley Region PCA and does a ton of stuff with Porsches.

Eric,

Thank you very much. I spoke with the president of the HV PCA last night and he also recommended reaching out to Tom.

Now to schedule that PPI. :-)
