mark your calendar as the meets have been getting better and better. The July meet had around 85 cars, which included several new faces. You may see pics at www.orlandoautomotiveclub.com

FESTIVALS OF SPEED to do FREE raffle to win this awesome watch at CARS AND CAFÉ this Saturday!
The Timberland® HT2 watch packs a punch of technology. It has both digital and analog clocks to create four different time zones, an altimeter to keep track of your altitude, a thermometer and a barometer to track weather conditions. And, in case you get lost, it has a compass so you don't have to stop and ask for directions. Don't let the size fool you, it is reasonably lightweight and feels great on the wrist. Imported.
Features
Black dial with silver colored numerals and hands
Nickel free, hypoallergenic, stainless steel case with a smooth brown leather strap
Main dial has three hands (hour, minute and second) with a digital window
Other subdials include a compass and an analog clock
Four different time zones, two analog and two digital
Barometer checks atmospheric pressure at current level and sea level
Altimeter keeps track of your altitude in feet and meters
Analog and digital compass
Temperature reading in Celsius and Fahrenheit (because your body temperature affects the reading, you may want to remove the watch to get a more accurate reading)
Chronograph provides a 1/100-second counter
Tachymeter allows you to calculate the rate of speed traveled over a measured distance in a particular length of time
Turning bezel, which is the area outside the main dial, is used to twist around to the minute hand to measure elapsed time
Alarm
Case width is 57 mm (approx. 2¼ inches) from the tip of the crown horizontally across the watch to the other side
Mineral crystal, which is a hard glass composite that is more resistant to scratching and breaking than regular glass or plastic
Quartz movement, which uses a tiny quartz crystal that draws power from a battery to provide very accurate time
Luminous hands and markers for easy viewing in low light
Water resistant to 30 m or 100 feet
Timberland tree logo and name engraved on the case
Limited 2-year warranty, please retain receipt for service

I was able to at least get one Porsche there Saturday, the 'red 964 C4 Wide-Body Cabriolet. I convinced several of the miata guys to come out, one a corvette owner And the editor of Grassroots Motorsports magazine. I was really bummed I got all those guys out there just to have it cut short by the rain, but even so I think they left all with a good impression.
The next PCA autox is Sept 21, I'll be certain to spread the word - can't have those BMWs out numbering us every month!

First of all, thank you for the reminder!!
I was going to take both cars but we ended up working in my friend's TransAm and did not have time to go pick up the 996TT (bad excuse for, "we were lazy" and did not wanted to waste another 5! minutes to get the car... )
He was there?? I did not get the chance to meet him
A few photos:
I love the looks of this car... would love to own one... Maserati GranTurismo
There was a yellow supercharged 996:

Ha-Ha who let that Boxster in there ?! Jamie, next time both you and David (GRM) are there I'll introduce you.
Nice pics, really shows the impending rain. I was able to only take a few hurried pics as the rain approached...
