Pocono Raceway is the home of 2 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup events and is easily accessible from anywhere in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic - just minutes from Interstate 80. Our Inaugural event will take place on the exciting South Road Course. The South Road Course is a 1.2 mile circuit utilizing the south infield road course and Pocono's high banked turn #1 of the tri-oval. The course has ten turns, including a hairpin.
Monday, October 22 2007 / Tuesday, October 23 2007 - Summit Point Motorsports Park Northeast Region Season Finale
This is our Northeast Region 2007 season finale. This is a 2 day event at the challenging Summit Point Motorsports Park, located in the Shenandoah Valley, just 40 minutes from Washington, D.C. Not only is this a 2 day event, it's on 2 different tracks! On Monday we will be driving the Summit Point circuit and on Tuesday we'll be on the Shenandoah circuit. Both are AWESOME! This is a great event to end the season and polish up on your driving skills before the snow flies. Come and meet some new friends or bring along some old ones. Registration can be for one or two days.
Please be sure to register early as space is limited for this celebration event which will include a free gourmet lunch, giveaways and great fun!
We promise at the end of the day you will be “Hooked on Driving”.
These events are not meant to be open track days for “race cars.” But rather a high class, safe and non-intimidating program for people to experience the thrill of learning to drive their performance cars on a real race track
Please visit the website to register and for more information.

You can expect 4-5 25 minute sessions. You dont need to be a member, just register online and follow the directions for preparing your car and yourself.
Denise,
Yes you do need a roll bar or some sort of roll over protection since the 993's do not have hardtops.
